Gentlemen, rest assured! Women do not look for excess. For them, the ideal size of a penis is slightly above average: about 16 centimeters in length and 12 in circumference, erect. These measurements come from a California study of 75 women who have been offered models of penis erection, printed in three dimensions.
Participants were asked to choose their preferences from the 33 gender variant of plastics. As a result, the “perfect” penis is not spectacular; he is close to the average. In France, the average length of an erect penis is around 13.5 centimeters.
Another more surprising discovery: the desires of the participants would be nuanced according to the type of sentimental relationship maintained with the owner of the penis. Thus, they prefer that the sex of their husband (or boyfriend) is smaller than that of the partner of a night. However, the size difference is only one wire: 16 cm in length for a regular partner to 16.25 for a punctual partner.
The circumference ranges from 12.2 cm in the case of a man “for life” to 12.7 for a partner of one night. To explain this small discrepancy, the researchers hypothesize that a woman would opt for the physical comfort of an average penis more easily when the relationship seems stable over time.
What are the average sizes?
At rest, it is estimated that a penis measures about 7 to 11 cm. Its circumference at varies between 8.5 to 9 cm (2.7 to 2.9 cm in diameter), according to the Academy of Medicine. For most men, the normal size of an erect penis is between 10 and 18 cm.
In erection, its circumference is 10 to 10.5 cm (3.2 to 4 cm in diameter). A man is considered to have a micropenis when he measures less than 7 cm in erection and less than 3 cm at rest.
